Lost, Found & Transformed
Welcome to Lost, Found & Transformed! A simple blog dedicated to the journey of being blessed by the
Grace of Christ.
Here, we share personal testimonies, scriptural insights, and reflections on how faith shapes our lives.
Peace and Blessings!
How precious is your steadfast love, O God!
All people may take refuge in the shadow of your wings.
Psalm 36:7 NRSVUE
Guiding Principles
Using an inquiry-based approach we hope to reach ordinary people, who have questions about how contemporary life and culture intersect with a faith in God. Readers may include people with and without a church home.
The intentions of these short weekly messages are to inspire discussion, self-reflection and peace. Messages are published here and our partner church, Living Waters Lutheran in Crystal Lake Illinois, as well as via common social media plateforms.
The goal is to be an agent of transformation by provide messages of hope and communion through a grounding of faith. "Sharing the Grace of Christ" will be the overarching guidepost for all communications.

I am NOT a theologian!
I am a curious, life-long learner who has wrestled with my own faith journey. My background and education are in art, graphic design, education, and business. I have long wanted to give back and hope that these messages, lift and inspire others.
The bulk of the first year of content was written by me and vetted by Pastor Zach Baer. I have invited others to join in the conversation and submit articles for review and publishing. By adding more "voices" in the Lost, Found & Transformed community I hope we will expand the offered ideas, experiences and opinions.
I am an ordinary person, with a family, loves, hurts, confusion and joy. I am perfectly imperfect, but hope that my messy humanness makes each reflection relatable to all participants.
For me, this project is a big stretch, a risk to share these ideas in a public arena, but when I met with Pastor Zach about this project we agreed that if we helped just one person, then all the work of this endeavor will have been worth it. Maybe you are that one.
God's Peace and Blessings from one Lost & Found sheep to another.
Peace,
Andrea
